Hi folks, I haven't written anything in here for soooo long as preoccupied with various freelance projects. Thank you all for hanging around waiting patiently for someone to return to this page and updates!!! So here's just a quick blog post to share a little with you about what has been happening! Well, I had a great time working with different clients on lots of books together. I had a chance working on three books based on African American characters recently. I find it very interesting to work on a diverse group of characters with rich, varied backgrounds. Today kids have a much larger selection of children's books to choose from with brown characters of all shades for them to identify with. Sharing here few illustrations based on African American characters. Another book illustrations based on multicultural theme. 'The Surprise Inside ' This book is meant for the enjoyment of all kids who are new to being big brothers or big sisters. The rhyming nature of The Surprise Inside makes it fun for all ages. Another story "Zuri's family vacation" by Chris & Ray (Author) "Zuri ends the school year with no clue as to where she'll be going for her summer vacation, as father decides to pick the family vacation out of a hat. Zuri seems to be having fun on her holiday until she is faced with unexpected obstacles. Zuri has to find the courage to overcome her obstacles and fears in order make sure her holiday doesn't turn into a nightmare. Umi and Uma....The perfect children's book for a two mom household, Umi and Uma is the story of two mommies and a baby. Written by two real moms raising a new baby, this story within a story explains to baby Abigail how her two mommies decided to start a family in the far away land of Astrin.
